  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Sprinkle half of the graham cracker crumbs over the batter.
  8. Sprinkle half of the mini marshmallows over the graham cracker crumbs.
  9. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the marshmallows and graham crackers.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining graham cracker crumbs and mini marshmallows on top.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  12. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • You can toast the marshmallows slightly under the broiler for a few seconds after baking for extra gooeyness. Watch them carefully to prevent burning.
  • Store leftover brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
