- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle half of the graham cracker crumbs over the batter.
- Sprinkle half of the mini marshmallows over the graham cracker crumbs.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the marshmallows and graham crackers.
- Sprinkle the remaining graham cracker crumbs and mini marshmallows on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- You can toast the marshmallows slightly under the broiler for a few seconds after baking for extra gooeyness. Watch them carefully to prevent burning.
- Store leftover brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
