Description

These S’mores Bars are a delightful twist on the classic campfire treat. They feature a buttery graham cracker crust, a layer of melted, gooey marshmallows, and a rich chocolate topping. Easy to make and perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  4. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the marshmallows and 1/4 cup butter in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the graham cracker crust, spreading evenly.
  6. In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon butter in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  7. Pour the melted chocolate over the marshmallow layer, spreading evenly.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate has set.
  9. Use the parchment paper overhang to lift the bars out of the pan. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use flavored marshmallows.
  • You can add a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the chocolate for a sweet and salty touch.
  • Store leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
