  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the peanut butter until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  7. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place on prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between each cookie.
  8. Flatten each cookie with a fork in a criss-cross pattern.
