Cool off with a refreshing Peach Iced Tea! This delightful beverage is perfect for a hot day and easy to make at home. Enjoy the sweet, fruity flavor of peaches combined with the classic taste of iced tea.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4–5 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 8 cups water, divided
- 6 black tea bags
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or to taste)
- Ice cubes
- Peach slices and mint sprigs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Peach Syrup: In a saucepan, combine the sliced peaches with 2 cups of water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the peaches are soft.
- Strain the Peach Mixture: Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Strain the peach mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl, discarding the solids.
- Make the Tea: While the peach mixture is cooling, bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 5-7 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
- Combine and Sweeten: Add the peach syrup and sugar to the tea. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
- Chill: Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until well-chilled.
- Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the peach iced tea over the ice. Garnish with peach slices and mint sprigs, if desired.

- Adjust the amount of sugar to your liking.
