- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup (20g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (340g) Nutella
- Optional: chocolate chips or chopped nuts for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until combined.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and eggs until smooth.
- Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
- Dollop the Nutella over the batter.
- Pour the remaining batter over the Nutella.
- If desired, sprinkle with chocolate chips or chopped nuts.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake them.
- You can add a pinch of espresso powder to enhance the chocolate flavor.
- Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
