Description

Whip up this guilt-free, vibrant Ninja Creami recipe for healthy strawberry ice cream. Made with simple, wholesome ingredients, this silky smooth frozen treat is low in sugar and high in flavor, perfect for a nutritious dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries (halved)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or preferred milk)
  • 1 scoop (approx. 25g) vanilla protein powder (whey or plant-based)
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup (or preferred sweetener)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients (frozen strawberries, almond milk, protein powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt) into the Ninja Creami pint container.
  2. Secure the lid and freeze on a level surface for a minimum of 24 hours until completely solid.
  3. Place the frozen pint into the outer bowl, secure the lid, and place it onto the base.
  4. Select the ‘LITE ICE CREAM’ setting on your Ninja Creami machine.
  5. If the mixture is crumbly after the first spin, add 1-2 tablespoons of extra almond milk and run the ‘RE-SPIN’ cycle until smooth and creamy.
  6. Serve immediately for a soft-serve consistency, or transfer to an airtight container and freeze for 30 minutes for a firmer scoop.

Notes

  • For an extra creamy texture, use full-fat canned coconut milk instead of almond milk (this will increase the fat content slightly).
  • Sweetness level can be adjusted by adding more maple syrup or using a zero-calorie sweetener like monk fruit drops.
  • Ensure the base mixture is frozen rock solid (24 hours minimum) before processing for the best results.
