- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- ½ cup milk (or water for a thinner consistency)
- 2–3 tablespoons sugar, or to taste
- ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder (optional)
- Ice cubes, as needed
Instructions
- Combine mangoes, yogurt, milk, sugar, and cardamom (if using) in a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Add ice cubes and blend for a few seconds more, until the lassi is chilled.
- Taste and adjust sugar as needed.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a vegan version, use a plant-based yogurt like coconut or almond yogurt.
- You can adjust the sweetness to your liking.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of cardamom or a few chopped mango pieces for extra flair.
- For a thicker lassi, use less milk or add more yogurt.
