Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips, if using.
  6. Fill each mini muffin cup about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Let the brownie bites cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a fudgier brownie, slightly underbake.
  • Store leftover brownie bites in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • Feel free to add nuts or other mix-ins like sprinkles!
