Marshmallow Frosting:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder until well combined.
- Whisk in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before frosting.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until smooth.
- Add the marshmallow fluff, vanilla extract, and salt; beat until well combined and fluffy.
- Frost the cooled brownies and cut into squares.
