Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for 12 minutes, until the filling is set. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle mini marshmallows over the top.
- Return to the oven and bake for 2-3 more minutes, until marshmallows are puffed and lightly golden. Let cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- For a smoky flavor, toast the marshmallows with a kitchen torch after baking.
- Store bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
