- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, granulated sugar, and cocoa powder. Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a separate bowl, cream together peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the bars are firm.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- You can add a pinch of salt to the peanut butter layer to enhance the flavors.
- Store leftover bars in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
