Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease and flour a 10-12 cup bundt pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour batter into prepared bundt pan.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
