Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cherries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and almond extract (if using). Gently toss to coat.
