- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cherries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and almond extract (if using). Gently toss to coat.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, and salt.

- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the cherries.
