Ingredients
- Ice cream cones (sugar cones work best)
- Marshmallows
- Chocolate chips (milk, dark, or semi-sweet)
- Graham cracker crumbs
- Optional toppings: sprinkles, mini chocolate candies
Instructions
- Preheat your campfire or grill to medium heat.
- Fill each ice cream cone with a layer of chocolate chips, followed by marshmallows, and then another layer of chocolate chips.
- Wrap the top of each cone with aluminum foil to prevent the cone from burning.
- Place the wrapped cones on the grill or near the campfire coals, turning occasionally, until the marshmallows are melted and gooey and the chocolate chips are melted (about 5-7 minutes).
- Carefully remove the cones from the heat and unwrap the foil.
- Sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs and any optional toppings.
- Let cool slightly before enjoying!
Notes
- For easier handling, use a metal pie pan or a specialized cone holder to stabilize the cones while filling and cooking.
- Adjust the amount of chocolate and marshmallows to your liking.
- If you don’t have a campfire or grill, you can also bake these in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes.
- Be careful when handling the hot cones.
