- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, oats, cinnamon, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a 9-inch square baking dish, spread the blackberries evenly. Sprinkle with a tablespoon of granulated sugar.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the blackberries.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
