Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press half of the crust mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Add the Filling: Spread the apricot preserves evenly over the crust.
- Make the Crumble Topping: In the same bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture is crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apricot preserves.
- Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
- Cool and Serve: Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
