Description

A warm, comforting, and incredibly easy apple pie dip that tastes just like your favorite classic apple pie, but is ready in minutes! Perfect for dipping cookies, graham crackers, or fruit.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 2 cups peeled and diced Granny Smith apples (about 2 medium apples)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • Whipped cream, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice until well combined.
  3. Stir in the diced apples and chopped pecans (if using).
  4. Pour the mixture into a small oven-safe baking dish (an 8×8 inch dish works well).
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the apples are tender.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving warm with your favorite dippers like graham crackers, shortbread cookies, or apple slices. Top with whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • For a quicker version, you can microwave the sweetened condensed milk and butter mixture for 2-3 minutes, stirring halfway through, until melted and combined. Then stir in the spices and apples.
  • Feel free to adjust the spices to your preference. A pinch of ground ginger can also be a nice addition.
  • If you don’t have Granny Smith apples, other firm, tart apples like Honeycrisp or Fuji will also work.
  • This dip is best served warm, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated gently.
