- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chopped apples (such as Honeycrisp or Gala)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.

- In another small bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press about 1 teaspoon of the crumb mixture into the bottom of each muffin liner.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the apple mixture over the graham cracker crumbs.
- Gently spoon or pipe the cream cheese mixture over the apple layer, filling each liner about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly jiggly.
- Let the dessert cups cool completely in the muffin tin, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For an extra touch, top with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon before serving.
- These can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- Feel free to use your favorite type of apple for the topping.
